Manchester United fans are asking why Darwin Nunez didn’t get sent off after committing multiple yellow card offences.

Erik ten Hag will hope his side can upset all the odds and get an unlikely result against the Reds at Anfield.

After last year’s 7-0 thrashing and the current form of both sides this season, not many are giving United a chance but they have made it through the first half relatively comfortably.

But some fans were upset that Nunez did not receive two yellow cards after he kicked the ball away and ‘sarcastically clapped’ the linesman after already being booked.

‘Shouldn’t Darwin Nunez get a second yellow for sarcastically clapping the linesman?’ one fan said.

‘Where’s Darwin Nunez yellow for kicking the ball away?’ said another.

‘A good ref would give Darwin Nunez two yellow cards in quick succession there,’ a third posted.
