Erling Haaland hits back at ‘fake news’ rumour of €500K Mykonos restaurant splash

Superstar striker Erling Haaland has taken to Twitter to hit back at claims that he went on a lavish restaurant spending spree during his holiday in Mykonos.

Haaland has fast become one of the most recognisable footballers on the planet, as well as one of the most coveted.

The Norwegian, a future Ballon D’Or winner, is sure to taste extraordinary financial riches before he hands up his boots.

That was certainly suggested after a story did the rounds of the 20-year-old splashing €500K at a Mykonos restaurant…

Though, it has since been proven to be total nonsense, with Haaland coming out himself to rubbish the rumour.

It must be frustrating for footballers to have stories of this kind, which are bad PR for them, completely fabricated.

Good on Erling for not letting the fake news do any further damage to his reputation…
