Erik ten Hag has issued a reminder to Lisandro Martinez that he is back in action soon and that he shouldnβt celebrate Argentinaβs win too much.
Although Martinez didnβt feature in the final, he was an integral part of the squad playing in five separate games. Like every other Argentine on the planet, the centre-back has been indulging in the celebrations since returning to his home country.

As much as he would like to stay celebrating forever, he canβt. Manchester United are back in action on the 27th as they take on Nottingham Forest in the late kick-off.
His manager, ten Hag, was quick to remind him of this.
β[Martinez] has been celebrating in Buenos Aires and I can understand that. Itβs the highest you can achieve,β The Manchester United manager said.
βBut also, Lisandro Martinez has to accept that on the 27th the Premier League will go on.β
