Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has posted an update regarding his latest injury on Twitter.
The Ivorian defender picked up the injury during United’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace mid-week.
Bailly started the game at right-back for the suspended Antonio Valencia and he seemed to have a problem early in the first period but he decided to play on.
Sadly Bailly was replaced by Matteo Darmian in the 52nd minute having only just returned to the side after suffering a knee injury earlier in the season.
Bailly has now taken to social media to assure United fans that the injury is not as serious as first thought. As for now there is no date set for the defenders return.
Happy to announce that my injury isn't too serious. Hope to be able to help my team again soon! Thank you for the support!🙌🏾 pic.twitter.com/plXfkS7nSk
