It all kicked off between the Polish and English players ahead of the half-time break in World Cup qualifying.
As the referee blew his whistle to indicate the start of half-time, both sets of players found themselves in a pushing and shoving contest.
Poland defender Kamil Glik was at the heart of it, picking up a yellow card for his involvement, while Harry Maguire’s overenthusiastic reaction also landed him in the referee’s notebook.

This is a real test for England, away from home against a strong and passionate footballing nation. They need to avoid being dragged into the silliness of all the petty fighting.
England are the stronger team and ought to focus on their football, rather than allowing themselves to be distracted by the continual attempts from the Polish to wind them up.
