Timothy Weah and Weston McKennie were among players who were present on the day.
In his famous Oval Office, Trump made a weird comment and for that the US president has received backlash on social media.

He made a highly controversial comment to the Juventus players.
Trump has often spoken out about transgender athletes in sports, and he signed an executive order banning transgender participants from women’s sports in February.

He pitched that idea to Juventus players in the hope they would support his beliefs.
Trump decided to ask them for their opinions.
“Could a woman make your team, fellas?” Trump awkwardly asked the players as he turned to face them.
It was an awkward question and the entire group stood in silence and smiled at Trump. They were clearly stunned by what Trump had asked them.
Juventus’s general manager, Damien Comolli, stated: “We have a very good women’s team.”
Trump replied: “But they should be playing with women. He’s being very diplomatic.”
On X user wrote: “What a horrible, awkward moment.”
Another one stated: “Crazy when a soccer team is more diplomatic than the President of the United States.”
