Paul Galvin and Davy Fitzgerald clearly didn’t see eye to eye as Wexford football and hurling managers. Galvin was very much outspoken on the former Clare goalkeeper and his lack of respect shown to the Wexford footballers, while he was the Wexford hurling manger. Paul Galvin commenting on his time as manager of Wexford; “there was a bit of interference that made my job more difficult”.
David Fitz loves to play the victim when it suits him. He’s far from a victim in how he behaves behind scenes while fronting to the media & I can personally attest to that. Hope someone in media has guts to ask him hard questions now. Always the victim, never your fault David. https://t.co/RYA5NB3Z5G

Speaking during the week to the media Davy Fitzgerald denied the claims
“That’s not true. 100 per cent not true,”
“Very (angry to hear that) but I’m not getting into it. I know the truth and so do the people in the county board and in Wexford, in the training centre.
“Paul can think what he likes.”
