UFC President Dana White talked with the media after the UFC 258 weigh-in to talk about a variety of topics including Usman vs Burns, Poirier vs McGregor 3 and the status of Leon Edwards next fight.
“They both want it,” White said of McGregor and Poirier. “So when you’ve got two guys who want the trilogy as bad as those two do, we try to make it happen.
“It’ll happen this summer.”
Conor McGregor fought Dustin Poirier in the month of January a rematch of their fight from back in 2014 and Poirier won after a second round knock out. Now the question is being asked when will the third fight take place and the decider.
