Dana White NOT impressed with Jake Paul facing Hasim Rahman Jr – here’s why

UFC chief Dana White is NOT impressed with Jake Paul’s upcoming opponent Hasim Rahman Jr.

Rahman Jr, son of a boxing legend, has stepped in to fight Paul after Tommy Fury pulled out of the fight for a second time, claiming he was unable to enter the USA.

Though Rahman Jr has shown promise in his career to date and has beaten better fighters than both Paul and Fury have faced previously, the fact remains that he was stopped last time out.

It’s for that reason that Dana White, who has had an ongoing and public feud with Paul, is not best impressed with the YouTuber’s decision to fight him.

White is quoted by the Mirror saying, “[Rahman Jr] just got knocked out, why not go after the guy who knocked him out?”

While you can see White’s point, Rahman Jr’s previous opponent was 19-0, with 17 KOs, heading into the fight. There’s no disgrace losing to a fighter with that record.

Considering Paul has never actually fought a boxer, only washed-up former UFC fighters, fighting Rahman Jr is a considerable step up on what he has contended with previously.
