The three time All-Ireland winner and probably the best full-back to ever play for the Rebels Diarmuid O’Sullivan was assistant manager to Kieran Kingston in the last two spells with Cork. The Cork team had some great success but unfortunately failed to deliver the Liam McCarthy cup having gone so close once or twice.

Will we see the man from Cloyne kept on in the Cork hurling role? It’s defiantly one of the toughest jobs in any sport, because in Cork, hurling is like a religion. Surely it’s only a matter of time till Cork win an All-Ireland, with the amount of talent coming through.
