The great club of Kilworth GAA in North Cork announced the passing of their players partners, Christine O’Brien was originally from Glanmire in county Cork.
The club said the following on their twitter account to show respect to club player Austin O’Hara

The club would like to offer their condolences to senior player Tadgh O’Brien and family on the untimely passing of his sister Christine.
On January 12th 2025 Christine passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the staff at Marymount Hospice, Cork.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken parents Terry and Ann and her brother Tadhg, her partner Austin, all of her aunts and uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues at St. Mary’s High School, Midleton and a wide circle of friends.
