What a game of hurling that was today between two great teams at a sold out Croke Park in Dublin. After the match Cork manager Pat Ryan was interviewed by RTE and people couldn’t believe the class the man had in giving Limerick great praise, see it below ..

When #Cork manager Pat Ryan was asked about today's Cork performance, he rightly spoke instead about the pedigree of the team they had just beaten. The pedigree and standard set by #Limerick has re-set the bar for the entire game. Huge respect for our next door neighbours.

Have to give huge credit to the management team aswell. They changed the tactics with our own puck outs at half time and they worked. We beat Limerick in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half which they are notorious for blitzing teams
This was EPIC. We beat the team that dominated and changed the game of hurling. I think after 5 years we finally learned from Limerick style of hurling instead of being psyched out by it.
Which goes to show he was the best man for the job. Magnanimous and humble! Loved his speech.
