Nemo Rangers and Cork footballer Luke Connolly has been forced to retire from football at only 31 years of age due to a persistent knee injury.
Such a shame this, because he was a quality player for both club and county and Cork could do with quality players in the forwards as Cork football look to build on what was a success last year.

Wonder will Connolly go into coaching now or what? Great player is his time and a real shame. Every county in the country is doing the hard slog of the pre season now, while getting ready for the league which will start in only a matter of weeks.
