Last week it was announced that Cork football manager John Clearly will be staying on for another two years. It was also made clear that former Galway player Kevin Walsh will also be staying on as the Cork football coach.

Cork will have to push on next season and hope to get out of Division two football, the Rebels need to get back to the top table and look to win the Sam Maguire eventually again. That has to be the standard in a county the size of Cork.
