Ireland’s Conor McGregor attempts to land the interim UFC Featherweight title late tonight, and he has a lot of support over in Las Vegas.
The Dubliner will face America’s Chad Mendes for the belt, and the pair were cleared for the headliner at the weigh-in last night.

McGregor tipped the scales at 145lbs ahead of his five-round clash with Chad Mendes who came in at 144.5lbs for the UFC 189 main event tonight at the MGM Grand.

Much to the delight of his legions of Irish fans.
McGregor was due to fight Jose Aldo Junior in a big grudge match, but the Brazilian pulled out last week because of injury.
