Ireland had a solid win against Fiji on Saturday afternoon with some of the young players in the squad getting a really shot at playing for Ireland.
The other big story this weekend was Conor McGregor getting charged with sexual assault, now someone on twitter believes the Irish players are wrong for still following McGregor on Instagram ..
Not sure about this, have a look at some of the comments underneath ..
When youâve a massive chunk of Irish rugby still following McGregor, itâs hard not to feel like me should be doing more.. so Iâve given them a message as a little nudge to do the bare fucking minimum pic.twitter.com/68SmwlBXgZ

Jesus, I canât stand McGregor but this is a bit weird. Like where do you stop? Irish football players, GAA players? I donât get this, maybe Iâve missed the point.
Oh I wouldâve done the same to other sports stars with large platforms I just donât happen to follow any. I messaged these because I could see theyâre mutuals. Also spoke to my own friends and family following him.. plan to talk to anyone I can
âShe/her.â âNuff said. The most hateful angry fucked up people on the planet.
Why do you feel itâs your place to do this? You, nor I know what happened on that night in that room and you canât just delete the fanbase of a sporting icon because of something he may or may not have done. Youâre hardly expecting a response from the rugby lads?
