Chelsea dressing room in TURMOIL just days before FA Cup final against Liverpool

There’s trouble in the Chelsea dressing room ahead of the FA Cup final this weekend, according to a report published by The Sun today.

Chelsea almost pulled off a miracle at the Santiago Bernabeu, having been 3-0 up in normal time, but Real Madrid’s never-say-die spirit saw them claw their way back into contention and progress into the Champions League semi-finals.

Thomas Tuchel’s men have appeared deflated ever since that heartbreaking evening, with a string of poor results leaving them facing the possibility of missing out on Champions League qualification altogether – which was previously unthinkable.

Chelsea also have an FA Cup final to contend with this weekend, with Liverpool desperately looking to cling on to their bid for the quadruple. Tuchel’s preparations for the game have been less than seamless, too, as per reports.

The Sun report that Tuchel has been forced to drag the Chelsea players onto the training pitch on their day off in a bid to stop the slump. This comes after the German reportedly had a half-time barny with Marcos Alonso at the weekend.

Chelsea fans will be hoping that the extra day of training has the desired effect and their side will overcome Leeds and have a spring in their step at Wembley. Jurgen Klopp will no doubt be taking plenty of encouragement from this, though…
