Clare manager Brian Lohan speaks about the circumstances that led to two of his players being unavailable for selection after being deemed “close contacts” of Wexford players. Wexford defeated Clare by 2-19 to 1-21 on Sunday the 16th of May where Wexford returned back with positive Covid Tests and this resulted in Wexford naming two Clare lads as close contacts.

The @OfficialWexGAA county board are surely obliged to publicly clarify their actions regarding the covid issue? Equally the @GaaClare county board would be well within their rights to vigorously demand answers in support of Brian Lohan and the Clare senior hurling panel
