WWE powerhouse Bobby Lashley has never been the WWE Champion before but the wait may be over for the 44-year-old as he looks set to finally become World Heavyweight Champion.
This week’s Monday Night Raw saw Lashley cash-in on the promise he made with The Miz at Elimination Chamber, that he would soften up Drew McIntyre at the end of the show and give Miz an easier opportunity to cash in on his Money in the Bank contract and win the title.
Lashley was granted a title match with Miz on the March 1st episode of Raw, but he managed to beat Braun Strowman in dominant fashion (and spear Miz) to close out the episode.
With McIntyre temporarily out of action (for now) and Miz looking more and more beatable, all signs point to Lashley finally getting his hands on the WWE championship report comicbook.com.
Even the big man himself seems to think his time has come.
