Anthony Joshua absolutely lost the plot after losing to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia.
Joshua was looking to avenge his last-year defeat in the rematch with Usyk, but it was more of the same with the Ukrainian’s quality shining through.
AJ somehow managed to add a split decision to his record, when it was difficult to give him more than a couple of rounds, but even that was a considerable blow to his ego.
It was either the damage to his ego or the damage sustained by Usyk’s onslaught of attacks that made their mark on Joshua, because something went seriously wrong post-fight.
Joshua threw belts out the ring, he furiously confronted Usyk before grabbing the microphone and going on a seriously deranged rant to sign and seal what was an embarrassing night all around.
It’s hard to explain exactly what he was doing here, but it’s a seriously difficult watch for British boxing fans…
