Former All-Star winning footballer Andy Moran has taken the head job of the Leitrim footballers, could he manage them against his home county of Mayo in next summers Championship? What a job that is for the 37 year old. Andy Moran was another one of the Mayo footballers that was very unlucky to not win an All-Ireland for his county, having come so close to doing it so many times.
You’d wonder what Andy Moran hopes to achieve with Leitrim in the next few years as manager with the Leitrim footballers it’s a very small county that struggles to compete, but none the less we wish him all the best in his new role and will bring a vast amount of experience with him that The Wild Rose County are sure to only benefit from.
