Kylian Mbappe was left hanging by England’s Kyle Walker after offering a handshake in the tunnel before kick-off.
England was knocked out of the World Cup yesterday after losing 2-1 to France in the quarter-final. England had a penalty late on to level it 2-2 but Harry Kane uncharacteristically sent the football flying over the bar.

But prior to the game kicking off, cameras in the team tunnel picked up an awkward exchange between Mbappe and Walker. The PSG winger could be sent offering a handshake to the right back but was brutally pied.

Mbappe didn’t seem to mind too much as he smiled and continued to stretch.
A lot of the talk in the build-up to the game was about how Walker could potentially stop the 23-year-old, which a lot of people in the French camp found amusing. It seemed like Mbappe was wishing him the best of luck in the game but the Man City defender was having none of it.
