We could have a repeat of the Jadon Sancho scenario where good English talent has to leave the country to find first team game time in a top league. This is what RB Leipzig are hoping for anyway as they look to raid 2 of Chelsea’s loaned out players who are seriously impressing this season.
With Timo Werner in the sights of every top European club every summer, Leipzig are looking for a possible replacement or even partner up top. That is why they’re reportedly preparing a €35 million bid for Tammy Abraham(reported by RBLive in Germany) who is currently plying his trade in the Championship for Aston Villa.
In 33 games in the Championship he has scored 22 goals with 2 assists, scoring a goal every 129 minutes in game. Is this a good enough record to earn a €35m price tag and a place in a top European League?
Not only that, but RB are also looking to secure Mason Mount on loan, he is currently on loan to Derby. In 33 games for Derby across all competitions this season he has scored 7 goals and has 5 assists from attacking midfield. RB could be coming in for Mason as Keita left last Summer and other midfielders could be on the way out of the club.
