Jurgen Klopp has ruled Liverpool out of the race to secure Jude Bellingham’s signature in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Reds have been monitoring the English midfielder for some time now but given the current position of the club and the money required, have backed out of the deal.
Bellingham is now expected to either join Real Madrid or potentially Manchester City in the summer.
Speaking in his press conference on Friday, Klopp told fans that they will have to step aside.
‘You have to work with what you have,’ Klopp said
‘You wouldn’t say as a five-year-old at Christmas you want a Ferrari.
‘Whatever we need and want we try absolutely everything to get it but there are moments when you have to accept it’s not possible and step aside and do different stuff.’
