Mikel Arteta replied to Erik ten Hag’s comments about player availability after their Europa League exit last night.
Arsenal was launched out of the Europa League on Thursday night after losing to Sporting Lisbon in a dramatic penalty shootout.
Although a blow to be out of European competition this early, Gunners fans will no doubt see the silver lining of being able to solely focus on one competition, the Premier League.
Arsenal has been incredible this season and currently sits atop the league table but many have labelled them as ‘lucky’ due to their injury record.

The latest to have a pop was Ten Hag who claimed that Manchester United had to suffer with missing players where as Arsenal had their full team available every week.
“We have to deal with it [absences] well but Arsenal, all the time their squad is totally available.” The United manager said.
Speaking after Thursday’s loss, Arteta replied to this by correcting the Dutch manager and stating that his side just ‘deals’ with it.
“We’ve been carrying injuries throughout the season,” the Spaniard said.
“We had Emile [Smith Rowe] out for four months, [Gabriel] Jesus out for four months, Alex [Zinchenko] for two and a half months, Thomas [Partey] for a month and a half, Eddie [Nketiah] for a month and a half. We had quite a lot of injuries already, but we dealt with that.”
