What a cracking game of football that was on Sunday between both Derry and Dublin at Croke Park. After the match the newly installed President of the GAA Jarlath Burns gave an excellent speech when handing over the trophy to Derry captain Conor Glass.
What a start Burns has had to his presidency, the former Armagh football looks like his going to be a serious president for the association.
We can’t wait for the Championship to get going in a few weeks time, it promises to be a cracking season, see some of the comments/reaction below to the speech ..
Bronnadh an corn ar chaptaen na foirne, Conor Glass.

As an Ulster man I Congratulations Derry on winning the match against Dublin, but never have I seen a team work so hard to win a match and at the same time work so hard to lose the game, they missed two if not three easy goal chances one when there was nobody in goals. My Dad who played for Cavan in the great mid 40s team always said take your points get enough of them, it doesn’t matter if the goals come or not. I liked Jar Burns words too.
