Frank Lampard has rejected the chance to return to football management.
Lampard, has been out of management since taking over the reigns at Chelsea last season where in 11 games, he oversaw just one win and eight defeats in a miserable spell from April 6 to May 28.
But he is said to be keen on getting back into football and recently held talks with Canada.
It is understood by TalkSPORT, that Lampard has turned down the chance to become their manager as he is prepared to wait for the right opportunity.
Earlier in the year the former England International had revealed he was eager to return to coaching for the right opportunity.
He said: โIโm enjoying being with the family and looking to get back at some point.
โHopefully something comes up that feels right for me, Iโm keen to get working again but as I reiterate, Iโm enjoying family life.
โItโs an intense job so when youโre out of it, itโs nice to appreciate being around all my children.
โYou love the job. you understand the rigours of it in the modern day. Iโve enjoyed all the clubs Iโve worked with.
โTheyโve all been big challenges for different reasons. I enjoy working with players, improve players and the team, so letโs see what comes.โ
