Paris revealed that Tyson wanted to cancel the show and the WBC heavyweight champion confirmed this was the case.
Speaking to Capital XTRA he said,
βYeah I wanted out, I was like, couple of weeks in I said, βIs there any way?β
βIβd be on the phone with my lawyers, βIs there any way I can get out of this? I donβt know what Iβve signed up for again. I never said Iβd do it again, Iβve done it again, Iβve made a mistake.β
βThatβs just my bipolar going up and down all the time, one minute Iβm happy, the next minute Iβm not and itβs very evident to see my emotional roller-coaster throughout this episode.
βPeople are going to be shocked because I can take ten turns in an hour.β
Fury returns to the ring on October 28th in a crossover bout against the former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou.
