The 38 man Ireland squad has been named for the upcoming November internationals against Japan, New Zealand and Argentina. There has been some big calls with a good mix of youth and experience in the squad. A big shout out to Ardmore’s Thomas Ahern who had made the develop squad and Leinster duo Dan Sheehan and Ciarán Frawley who are in line to win their first cap for their country.

These are tests that everyone is really looking forward to after last year a lot of the southern hemisphere teams not allowed to travel up North. The All Blacks always sell out grounds also and it should make for a great game with Ireland finishing well in last years Six Nations by defeating England.

With the next Rugby World Cup less then two years away, the build up starts now for Ireland, Ireland are still yet to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup, this is something that have to achieved sooner rather than later. Especially when you look at the quality of player that all four provinces keep producing. Ireland coach Andy Farrell has got a big job on his hands.
