Wilfried Zaha has been sent off for Crystal Palace against Tottenham – and what on EARTH was he thinking?
Zaha’s Palace side found themselves 2-0 down after Spurs netted twice in the space of two minutes. The last thing that they needed, especially with Patrick Vieira in isolation with COVID-19, was to be reduced to ten men.
Unfortunately, for all of Zaha’s talent, he does have a bit of a temper, which showed at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the Ivorian picked up two yellow cards in the first-half of the contest.

The first yellow was a rather soft one, but considering he knew that he was one caution away from being given his marching orders, it defies belief that he felt it appropriate to do what he did to Emerson Royal.
A moment of madness from Zaha and it’s now a LONG way back for the Eagles in North London…
