The WWE are understood to be pushing for Ronda Rousey to make a stunning return at the upcoming Royal Rumble.
Rousey, who was previously the best female MMA fighter on the planet, made the pivot to the WWE after her UFC career came to an end.
She had equal success in the WWE, becoming one of the company’s most renowned and popular female fighters, winning the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
Rousey could be set to make a return to the wrestling ring, one which has been anticipated since her departure and would undoubtedly put a smile on the face of many wrestling fans.
According to Fightful, those pulling the strings at the top of the WWE mentioned Rousey as a potential entrant at the upcoming Royal Rumble.

Details are scarce beyond that, with the WWE evidently holding their cards close to their chest, but there’s a pretty strong insinuation that we could see Rousey return.
Rousey has previously expressed a desire to take a break from wrestling in order to build a family and revealed she is not fond of the sheer amount of travelling associated with being on the WWE roster.
That shouldn’t, however, prevent her from making one-off appearances…
