Wolves striker Raul Jimenez is back in Wolves training following skull fracture

Images of Wolves striker Raul Jimenez have been published on the official Wolves Twitter account of the 29-year-old back in training following his skull fracture.

The Mexico international needed surgery following a heavy clash of heads with Arsenal defender David Luiz on November 29th 2020.

Jimenez has been in recovery ever since and has made tremendous progress, so much so he was pictured back in training with a ball at his feet.

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo said the the club are “delighted” with the progress Raul Jimenez is made since his injury report Sky Sports.

Espirito Santo went on to say: “He is training, he has been able to integrate into some of the training sessions and he is improving and doing well,”

“We have to be very careful and follow the protocols but keep positive because he is doing well.

“We are delighted, but know it’ll take time. He is going in the right direction

“He will keep improving his fitness, follow the protocols and do consultations with the neurosurgeon. It requires patience but it’s moving in the right direction.”
