Willian is one of Arsenal’s worst signings in recent memory, despite the Gunners having landed him on a free transfer.
The North London giants made the [questionable] decision to hand Willian a lucrative three-year deal at 32-years-old. It hasn’t paid off.
The Brazilian was truly terrible in his debut campaign at the Emirates, and it doesn’t appear as though he’s likely to be given the chance at a second one.
Amid speculation that he could be leaving the club, Willian has removed all traces of Arsenal from his Instagram bio.

Willian’s acquisition is a prime example of the poor recruitment that has gone on at Arsenal in recent seasons.
The fans are beginning to question Edu’s judgement, and it’s easy to see why.
Arsenal have spent in excess of £100M this summer, with their starting XI not having been drastically improved. You have to ask, why?
Those pulling the strings at the top, Edu included, deserve equal criticism as Mikel Arteta.
Ultimately, this is the squad they’ve built for him – and it’s underperforming.
As for Willian, the quicker he can get himself out of Arsenal the better for all parties. It’s been a huge waste of everyone’s time.
