Who’s Going to Win the Champions League?

This week we had the quarter-finals of the Champions League and we now have a good idea of who holds the advantage going in to their second legs next week. There were some great games Tuesday and Wednesday night and it’s a full credit to all teams managing to get these games to go ahead in these crazy times. Who do we fancy to go all the way now after seeing the first legs of the Quarter-finals? You can read more about Unibet in this review, safebettingsites.co.uk, but they seem to be offering some decent Champions League prices to us.

Chelsea will feel they got the easier side of the draw in the final eight, if there is such a thing with being drawn against the Portuguese Champions Porto. Porto did manage to knock Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo out of the Champions League in the final 16, but you feel that was their final and Chelsea now have two away goals going into their second leg, so you would really fancy Chelsea to make it into the Semi’s where they will face either Liverpool or Real Madrid.

Liverpool have an uphill task after a very disappointing result and performance against Real Madrid on Tuesday night. It will take a massive effort and I wouldn’t rule Real Madrid out of going all the way, as they still have plenty of experience and proven Champions League winners in their squad. Real to go through for me, Liverpool have had bad luck with injuries and their form has been poor and this game will be a stretch to far for me. Especially with Liverpool’s poor form this year and no fans to get behind them on a big Champions League night.

Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund is still very much in the balance and Borussia Dortmund will feel hard done by that they didn’t win the game after an awful decision to deny Jude Bellingham a perfect goal. I do fancy Manchester City to go through though even if the second leg is in Germany. Manchester City will find a way.

PSG will bring three away goals back home to their return leg against the Champions League winners Bayern Munich, in truth the minute Robert Lewandowski was ruled out it was a massive blow for the Germans. Some players are just irreplaceable no matter how big your squad is, and the Polish striker is one of the.

So I’m looking at

Real Madrid vs Chelsea
PSG vs Manchester City

Chelsea vs PSG

I’m very tempted to say Chelsea, but I think the time has come and I think Mbappe and Neymar Jr. will finally deliver and lift that trophy for the French giants and fulfil Nasser Al-Khelaifi dream.
