West Ham want to sign record-breaking Brazil star to replace Rice

West Ham is keen on signing Norwich City midfielder, Gabriel Sara as a long-term replacement for Declan Rice.

The Hammers have been poor this season, they are currently hovering above the relegation zone, only avoiding it through a superior goal difference.

Their performances this season have been rather surprising given the quality of players there possess, specifically in the middle of the park.

Declan Rice has consistently been one of the best English midfielders while the addition of Lucas Paqueta in the summer has added that touch of quality which they have lacked previously.

But with the current trajectory of the team, they will struggle to keep hold of Rice in the summer with several clubs circling like sharks.

According to reports from the Sunday Mirror, they have already picked out his replacement, Gabriel Sara from Norwich.

But they will have to fight off the intense rivalry from Atletico Madrid and RB Leipzig if they want to secure his signature.

They will no doubt have the funds if they do sell Rice, who is currently being valued at the £100 million mark.
