Wayne Rooney’s son Kai has revealed all about which team he supports and it’s not his father’s beloved Manchester United.
Rooney Jr joined Man United’s academy in 2020 when he was just 11 and says he wants to be playing for The Red Devils very soon.
“In ten years hopefully I will be playing in the Premier League for Man United. That’s where I see myself but I’ve got to make it happen with the hard work and everything behind the scenes.”
Kai also made the revelation about which team he supports, and it’s an answer that may surprise everyone.

“I support Everton. I know people might expect me to support Man Utd but it’s my dad’s team and I am from there.
“I have a love for Man Utd as well but my team is Everton.”

Despite his dad spending 14 years at Manchester United where he became the club’s all-time top scorer, Kai supports the team his dad started his career with where he made a name for himself, scoring 17 goals in two seasons with the Toffees before his big-money move to United in 2004.
