Wayne Rooney To Have Right Foot Transplant After Goal Drought

After a disappointing start to the season England’s top goal scorer, Wayne Rooney, has announced he will go under the knife yet again but this time for a new right foot..

Although considered as one of the footballing greats, Rooney is said to be fed up with the constant abuse by fans on social media after his lack of goals for Manchester United this season and has decided to take action. The 30 year old will be returning to the clinic for a second time after his transplant in 2011, he explained his reasoning on Twitter by tweeting I was going bald at 25, so why not?

In an interview with the BBC, Wayne said ‘I started to become a cripple at 30 so why not? It’s only costing me a quarter of my wages so frankly I don’t care, it’s the fans paying for it and half of them are just tourists’ Wayne is said to be donating his right foot to the local retirement home, saying at least that way he can be closer to the Granny’s.

Wayne is set to be out for 6 months before he can back to the training ground, but doctors have said that Rooney’s new right foot could help him to stay at the highest level until he reaches 40, leaving him with 10 years left. We’d like to wish Wayne a successful operation and hopefully he will be out on the pitch soon.
