Waterford United entertained Shamrock Rovers at home last night and there was a firework show on display from the crowd, highly dangerous and the play was suspended until they security staff at the crowd could get it under control.  This was extremely dangerous and very lucky that no one was injured.

Shamrock Rovers won the game when it eventually finished the Dubliners won the game three goals to one. It was a vital win to keep Rovers at the top of the Premier Division and a bad one for Waterford who are struggling at the bottom half of the table
