Surely the Tipperary native will be tempted to go back to his county and have a crack at the main job. Tipperary is a mad hurling county and one that will be eager to do a lot better then they did this year, where they failed to get out of Munster.
Where to Waterford go now? Liam Cahill did an excellent job with the Deise county, although this year was disappointing. But with a squad like Waterford, there will a lot of managers that would love the job.
