Wexford centre-back Graeme Molloy’s effort had all the right components: coming at speed from the player’s blindside to make perfect shoulder-to-shoulder contact, as the opposition bore down on goal.
Plus there was the mandatory falling to the ground and spilling of the ball for a turnover from Down’s Conor Laverty.
With that marker laid down, Wexford went on .
