On August 1st 2016 during a L’Alcúdia International Football Tournament (aka COTIF) in L’Alcúdia, Valencia, Spain a United States vs Bahrain group stage match broke out into a total melee during the 3rd minute of 2nd half extra time.
The ensuing fight resulted in 4 red cards handed out, two to Bahrain players Jameel and Mahmook, and two to US players Hugo Arellano of LA Galaxy and Brandon Vazquez of Club Tijuana.
