WATCH: Stunning individual camogie goal from an eight-time All-Star

One of the standout scores of the weekend came from a camogie club match in Armagh.

Jennifer O’Leary will be a familiar name to fans of Cork camogie, who watched her win four All-Ireland medals and eight All-Stars between 2002 and 2014 in a glittering inter-county career.

She is now living in Armagh and playing with club side Middleton under her married name Jenny Curry.

At the weekend, Curry proved she still has the speed and skills that brought her inter-county glory, scoring this superb individual goal in a final against Madden.

She took possession from a puck-out and then turned and soloed towards the opposition goal while fending off defenders at will, before finishing brilliantly.

As fans of sport love to say, “class is permanent”.
