You’ve heard people say that the 12th man can be just as important as the 11 players on the pitch, well one young lad certainly did his best to help during Panama’s World Cup qualifier last night.
Check out this footage of a young ballboy sprinting to his country’s aid but thumping the football into the stands after it went out of play in a bid to waste time.

It wasn’t just the kid making headlines though after the stadium went into meltdown after Panama got their winner in the 88th minute thanks to a previous phantom goal which subsequently knocked the United States out of the World Cup.
