Snooker is a gentleman’s game and there’s not often controversy but the 2014 Masters Final was one of those rare moments when one man with a big mouth refused to shut up and subsequently got thrown out.
The man involved was chucked out by security when he wouldn’t stop shout during Mark Selby’s time at the table. It turns out he was also on his mobile phone.
He was eventually ejected from the arena and the game continued with Ronnie O’Sullivan defeating defending champion Mark Selby 10–4.
This was the third time these two players had met in a Masters final and O’Sullivan set another record by reaching his tenth Masters final, surpassing the nine appearances by Steven Hendry.
