Kasper Schmeichel has spoken out from the Leicester City camp and sat down with Sky Sports to give the players point of view on the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.
Leicester City and Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has spoken out in defence of accusations that the Leicester players had a direct influence on the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.
Since the 65 year old Italian was relieved of his duties it has widely speculated that the players had approached the board about their former manager highlighting their unhappiness at his performance.
Schmeichel has come out in defence of himself and his fellow teammates stating that “no player has that type of influence” and the “board make all the decisions at the club.”
