Davy Fitzgerald and the Clare hurlers seem to be on a charm offensive to repair the image of the panel damaged by earlier in the season.
Following last week’s the team were given the chance to get off a training session with another sporting test.
In the latest clip, backroom member Tommy Hegarty was tasked with cycling around the pitch perimeter in less than two minutes at Dangan NUI Grounds in Galway, where the team were training.
Sounds pretty easy, right?
Hegarty is the ‘Maor Camán’ for the team and was the star of the show in last week’s charity crossbar challenge – which raised money for the Irish Heart Foundation and Cahercalla Hospice.
We think Hego’s herculean efforts this week also deserved a reward from manager Fitzgerald.
