WATCH: All 6 Goals From Spain’s Hammering Of Germany In The Nations League

Ferran Torres was the star of the show in Spain’s 6-0 hammering of Germany as the Manchester City winger scored his first career hat-trick as a Spainish international.

The Spanish inflicted the heaviest competitive defeat ever dished out to the German national team and joined France in the four-team Nations League finals.

Torres notched up three goals for himself with Juventus’ Alvaro Morata heading in another, Rodri made scored with his head also before a Mikel Oyarzabal’s tap-in wrapped it up at 6-0.

Spain dominated from the beginning, claiming 70% of the possession and clocking 23 shots on target but it was the 20-year-old golden boy (Torres) who stole the headlines.

Germany were unbeaten in 2020 heading into the game, and in firm control of Group A4 but a vintage display from the Spanish left the 2014 World Cup champions embarrassed and eliminated from the Nations League.

Spain and France have already qualified for the Nations League finals and await the arrival of  either Belgium or Denmark from Group A2 and Italy, the Netherlands or Poland from Group A1.
