The New Zealand coach admits that the former Ireland captain and outside centre Brian O’Driscoll is the best player that he ever coached in his three tours as a Lions coach. Gatland gave Brian O’Driscoll his first cap way back in 1999 when he was the Irish coach and of course dropped him in 2013 in the final test against Australia on that Lions tour.
