It was confirmed only a few weeks ago that we will have a Lions tour this summer in South Africa despite Covid still being a problem across the world. There was some of us wondering why they couldn’t push the tour back till next summer, but obviously the home unions have their own tours so this was out of the questions. There’s no doubt that this will be a very different Lions tour than previous ones in the past, with very little if any interaction happening between players and fans, it will be a Lions tour like no other. All the same we’re delighted it’s going ahead.
