The 34 year old Welsh out-half Dan Biggar was playing for his new club Toulon at the weekend and just at the vital moment the former Ospreys ten slipped as his back gave way, just as he was about to take a conversion.
He was just ten minutes into the match when the injury occurred. Following a beautifully pinpointed cross-field kick that found Charles Ollivon’s grateful clutches to clinch five points, the experienced number ten was ready to line up the touchline conversion – sadly it was not to be.
